ABOUT US

SOS Sports Consult is a specialist sports governance consultancy that is owned and run by Sarah O’Shea.


Sarah is a qualified lawyer and also holds an International Masters in Sports Law and Management (FIFA Master) from the International Centre for Sport Studies (CIES) in partnership with three universities, De Montfort University in Leicester (England), SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan (Italy) and the University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland). 

She also holds an Advanced Diploma in Personal Leadership and Executive Coaching. She is currently the Honorary General Secretary of the Olympic Federation of Ireland and an active panel member on the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS). She also serves on the legal commission of the European Olympic Committee and of Women’s Sport International.


Sarah spent her early career in general practice law and later as an in-house sports lawyer and administrator in football. She now provides bespoke consultancy services for a range of sports organisations of all levels; Federations, Associations, Clubs, Leagues, other sports bodies and direct advisory services to Boards, Chief Executives, General Secretaries and Senior Management.

Personal Development & Leadership

I am also a qualified personal development coach for men and women working in sport and have provided mentoring services throughout my career. I am also currently running a women in leadership course with a business colleague which can be adapted for your organisation.
